Twaddlers (Two to Three Years)*

We don’t waste a minute of our Twaddlers’ time because there is so much to learn and so much fun to have!

They are now independent, curious and into lots of exploration. Toys, equipment and programs are designed to encourage discovery and learning.

This begins first thing in the morning with circle time, the first activity that teaches our Twaddlers social participation. Up until now most of the play has been independent.

A strong focus at this stage is potty training, which includes often asking if they have to go to the restroom and before you know it you have a potty trained child.

*Ages may vary according to state regulations

No one has more fun
than our TLE Twaddlers.

A day in the life of a Twaddler is packed with fun!

Nightly reports called Twaddler Telegrams, are prepared so that busy parents may review their child's day at TLE at their leisure.

The Learning Experience® (TLE) serves both morning and afternoon snacks that are nutritious and "child friendly". Snacks are prepared in a licensed and approved on site kitchen facility. When lunch is provided, it is prepared by a licensed cook from menus approved by a registered dietician.

TLE is sensitive to dietary needs of our multi-cultural society. Parents are asked to indicate upon enrollment if there are any food restrictions and or food allergies that apply to their children. The center complies with all local health ordinances, inspections and state recommended guidelines regarding children's nutrition.

A cook is hired to prepare lunch when the center's enrollment has reached 75 children eating table food. New centers may not offer lunch programs upon opening. In that case, parents send in home-made lunches. Refrigeration is provided if needed.
