The owners, Sharmi and Subhra were attracted to The Learning Experience® due the company’s emphasis on education. According to them, no other child care franchise has a curriculum that can match what The Learning Experience® has to offer. Sharmi holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and did her MBA in Finance from Rutgers Business School. Being a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society for scholastic excellence and the recipient of Whitcomb Center for Research in Financial Services award for demonstrating excellence in general finance studies, Sharmi believes that the early education years of children are very important in shaping their future.

Subhra, her husband, holds a B.S. in Aerospace Exgineering and also has a Masters in Computer Science. Sharmi taught her daughter, Oishi, who is in middle school now, to read when she was four years old.  That is why Sharmi and Subhra are very excited that The Learning Experience offers the Fun With Phonics® Early Reading program to all kids at no additional cost. This will give all families and their children an opportunity to enter the world of reading at a very early age. Both of them believe that children can excel in their lives when they are given a good educational foundation in a caring environment.
