Hi, my name is Bernadette Fiascone, a.k.a. Miss Berny, and I am the proud owner of The Learning Experience franchise in Crest Hill, the first TLE to open in Illinois. I am so happy to be bringing the high quality programs of The Learning Experience to the area! I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself and how I became involved with TLE.

I was born and raised in Chicago, the fifth of six children. I attended The Ohio State University and earned my degree in Accounting before embarking on a career in financial services. Over the last 18 years, I’ve had an interesting career that has taken me all over the world. I have lived in Singapore, London, and New York, but I have always come back to my home base in Chicago. Over time, I found myself searching for a more meaningful career; one that has a direct positive impact on the community and our future.  Through my research, I came into contact with The Learning Experience, and it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for.

It’s been quite an adventure for me to bring The Learning Experience to Illinois! By my side through it all has been my fiancé, Andy Labis, and our dog, Milo.  Every day that I am here at the center, interacting with the children, parents, and staff, I receive validation that I am doing what I was meant to be doing. It’s been a very fulfilling experience, and I’m enjoying every minute of it!
